im kickin myself now... but at the time it was kinda like this.

"o shit i crashed"... "im out in the middle of nowhere[check phone]"..."o shit my battery is almost dead"..."i dont even want to post this shit on the internet anyways, how fucking retarded am i"..." oh god still nobody, and my phone is STILL dying"

and then some people showed up and helped. after that it was a scramble to get the bike unwedged from the guard rail and get me back into town. its pretty fucking scary riding a sport bike with your front caliper leaking for 8 miles.

I'm calling BS!!!

You just wanted a new bike and figured if you slid into a gaurdrail you could get a new one. I see your angle.

Just curious but do you still have the bike and do you plan to part it out? I need some spare rims if they are good. Plan to do a lot of long trips this year and want to put some interstate oriented tires so I don't wear out my PPs

I know you are going to quote "So I don't wear out my PPs" and cut out the rest.

that's exactly how I felt when my tire when flat 100 miles outside of anchorage... looked down and had no signal.. too a step and.. .beep signal... took me 50some calls to AAA to get one to last long enough to pass enough info for them to send a truck. and I was in a mountain pass and the sun was setting... I'd have froze to death

Congrats on the new bike! Glad you didn't get hurt trying to limbo under a guardrail with an F3.
