Default Seat foam, where can I get it?

So, I'm rebuilding the 2x4 of a seat on my SM, and I can't find any decent seat foam anywhere. Any ideas? Hobby shops' shit is too soft, memory foam is too soft. I need a little over a square foot of 2" to 3" firm to extra firm foam.

On second thought screw foam and get you some gel mouse pads. Or even scam up some memory foam from matress tops.

If ya need any help in process let me know...you using the same seat materials from the stock seat?

And make sure you have a very sharp razor or blade to cut and shape the seat foam. A dull blade will make it choppy and rough.

If you have not mess up the original foam from your SMC you can make that foam softer by drilling holes in it from the bottom. Mark your drill so you don't drill all the way through the seat. Use about a 1/2 inch drill. Also cutting the seat down some can make it wider and it will seem softer cause it spreads your weight more.

I also wear MX boots or 50-50 MX boots so I can stand some while on rides. The look on other riders faces when you ride 5 miles standing up is great. But you need the correct boots or your feet will be sore.

If you already killed your stock seat MX seat foam can be bought from places that sell the covers and other MX parts.
