Default Inception spoiler thread

Anyone see it?
Thoughts on the ending?

Dream or reality?

My vote is that it was Cobb stuck in "limbo" all along.

Micheal Cain was the one trying to get him out of lala land.
Early in the movies he said "come back to reality"
Mol ("his wife" if she ever existed and perhaps just a figment) was right.
Cain was trying to rescue his son from madness. It was shutter island all over again.
The "job" was a ploy to plant Ellen Page.

[QUOTE=pauldun170;394324] It was shutter island all over again.

This is what I was going to ask, from the above descriptions. I still think I will go see it though.

I thought it was a really good film and worth the price of a ticket.

I really enjoyed it, even with really shitty seats at the very front... I totally forgot all about that part, I was so into the movie.

And yes... I think it was all in his head.

Crap! You guys are corrupting my understanding of it!

I thought the end was real, the spinning thing looked like it was going to topple soon. Never thought the whole thing was in his head.

Notice how at the end his kids looked just like they did in his "memory\dreams"
Same position?
Same clothes?
Same everything?

The only difference was that he saw their faces at the end. Otherwise everything was identical.

Do you remember the purpose of the totem?
he had the spinning top, the other guy had the loaded die, the girl had the chess piece....

Mmmm... I dunno... Not sure his dad was trying to pull him out, or if his dad was another figment of his subconscious trying to acknowledge that it wasn't real.
