Still not as painful as watching it. I'd say soccer is the 2nd most boring sport to watch, just behind golf (and in close competition with baseball). They kick the ball to one side, then it gets kicked to the other side, and if the game is good 1-2 goals might be scored. Unless fans are rioting and killing each other then it is no fun to watch.
NOTE: I said it is boring to watch, not boring to play. Baseball is ungodly boring to play.

most physical contact sports are pretty bad as far as getting hit. You don't have 400 lbs behemoths hitting you in rugby and soccer. That kinda weight at the speed they play is a shit ton of force compared to a little soccer player. None of the sports are wimpy by any means. Anyone who suggests such crap has never played the sport at a decent level or sucked at it and is spiteful.
