i knew it was the beginning of the end when aol started sending promotional cd's instead of floppies. they just didnt throw the same as the old floppies did

I just used a floppy disk for my "basic technology competency exam" this past weekend at the tech college. It seemed foreign.

the 5.25" were even better than the 3.5" (but not as good as good ol' 8"). I still have both laying around and machines with drives to read them

I hope we don't need floppies to do back up on the Okuma Verticle milling machine at work.
It uses 8-1/2" floppies |
