so... Anyone wanna meet a princess?
Well... just been told that I have too much leave accrued... 70+ days... so I gotta take some.
Can't leave any earlier than the 17th as the Special Olympics are being held on base and I gotta comp.... I mean organize it. On the 17th I'll leave and stay in Northern AR... then push on the next day stopping in KC to see Fatburg. then on up to my brothers in Omaha My Brother is getting married the 22nd of May, so I'll in Omaha and Des Moines from the 18th or so till the 23rd... My girlfriend is driving her 1 ton Dodge Diesel down from Rapid to the wedding... and I'll be hauling the bike back to Rapid on the 23rd (nice as riding would have sucked!) I'll spend a week in Rapid with her... she'll do most of the riding there. I plan a few short trips (she's still gotta work) to the Devil's watch tower, and up into Montana. also to Mt. Rushmore. Then I'll leave on the 31st down to Colorado. gonna stay just West of Denver hopefully (camping) 1st I'll head down to Pike's Peak, and then continue down to NM. staying about 20 miles from the Tex border. 2nd I'll cross TX, OK, and camp in AR (unless I can catch up with Smilieman) 3rd it'll be on from AR to Trip's to connect. 4th we'll ride down to the Rally... here's a screen shot of what I'm thinking. here's the mileage... So... anyone wanna meet a princess? |
