Art Deco awesomeness
Here's some functional art: Someone's reissued the old Predicta TVs!
Fuckin' schweet. Want at least three of them. http://www.predicta.com/index.shtml

why the hell would you want one of these? They don't look that good and I didn't get to deep into the website (gallery only) but do they work? Whats the point of an old tv like this that doesn't work?

They work. It's not HD (duh).
Again, it's functional art. It's not the latest and greatest in fucking television.

I like it. I just wish instead of usig the tubes they were using LCD displays. Then it would be the ultimate. I like the throwback styling, and you could even leave it look like a tube but not. Who knows maybe they will do that in the future.

I dig. Those were TVs that were meant to look like art in your living room. now its just a black rectangle.

Of coarse, was at best buy the other day and they have that LED flatty that is maybe 1/2" thick. I've hung way way thicker picture frames! |
