Suddenly motorcycles everywhere!
for some reason I keep falling into ways to get bikes. someone offered to trade me a 93 ninja for an old laptop a week ago and now someone offered to sell me his 01 marauder for 400 bucks. i'm running out of room and developing an unhealthy bike buying addiciton. i'm not sure how to stop it

One of the guys from our riding group seems to have the same luck as you, he "falls" into great deals all the time. Recently, he went to a storage facility auction and won a bid on a unit. When they cut the lock off, along with a bunch of household stuff, there was a wrecked GSXR 750, that needed a rear swingarm.
He buys the bikes, converts them to track bikes and "rents" them to others in our group when we go for track days at Jennings. It is great for first timers and novice riders to get their feet wet at a track day without all the work of prepping their bikes...then they are hooked He now has 5 track bikes in his stable

this is number 4 for me, number 7 if you include the ones i've given away, problem is i dont have the money for storage, and my family (well my mom and sister, i gave my dad a bike) are getting sick of their garage being full of bikes and tools instead of their crap. the deals are great and i love having the bikes. it's just putting a strain on the relationship with my family

I wish I could "fall" into my FIRST bike...I can never find deals like that, while my friends always do. Congrats on having good bike luck!
Lemme know if ya wanna part with a decent starter bike, 250 or 500cc... lol |
