Damn YouTube's terms of use... they had to cut it off before the guy got eaten.

I think if the guy had a louder voice he could have spooked the bear... when he screamed the bear seemed to hesitate... thank god I have a ridiculously loud voice.

I don't understand... I would be making tons of noise... banging that stick on trees... etc...

or as I'm usually packing... I would have shot into the ground... not at him, cause that might not do too much.

And for the record... yes I would be shitting myself the entire time!

I don't think a hand gun will do as much as we'd like it to. Might just piss him off in the short term.

I was always taught that that was the first rule with bears: Make as much loud noise and make yourself as big as possible.
