ed here, seen that same thing happen

dude trying to load a mint 900RR into the back of an 18 wheeler w/ a shorter ramp......so therefore it was even steeper.

no test run, just ran up the ramp, not enough speed........feel over on its side.......slid all the way down.

dude shipped it anyways........

I never NEVER load a motocycle in the back of a bed without the truck backed up in a low spot or at a loading dock. It's just too stupid to go that high.

Oh yes.

My bike currently resides in a building behind my house and the door is so narrow I have to bring my mirrors in. There was no ramp so I bought those metal ramps you use (2 of them) to load your bike/lawnmower, etc into a truck. Never having driven up a ramp (especially so narrow) before and not realizing the part where my feet can't touch (so you can fall over) I panicked and went into my shed too fast and hit the wall on the other side.

I wasn't going fast enough to hurt anything other than breaking a mirror but boy did it piss me off!!!

A VFRD friend built me a nice, wide, wooden ramp later so it's all good now. Now all I have to negoiate is my dirt driveway and the dirt road my cabin is on. That hasn't bothered me but boy did that ramp!

yeah I ride my DRZ and fiddy into the back of my truck, but I wouldn't care if they fell like that. I have done worse to them on the trail.

I have a trifold atv ramp though, so it's a lot wider.

funny thing is I tried riding my ZZR up in to my pickup bed on a tri-fold ATV ramp and it fall over on it... pinning my leg... lol... I had the truck backed too close to the garage and when I rode up I had to duck and lean to clear the over hang... went to put my foot down...found a hole

found out just how heavy my ZZR was trying to pick it up that way

Shit, I loaded my bikes onto ramps a lot higher than that truck.

He was fine until he hit the clutch and lost traction.
