What kind of tires you running?

i currently have pirelli corsa diablo III's on mine, i LOVE them and will probably continue using them, I just ride street,but its always in the twisties and fairly aggressive , they turn in a bit slow, but when leaned over they really stick, mileage wasnt that great, but nothing else has been either on the 1000

Corsa III. I like them.

Bridgestone Battlax BT016's. Very nice tires. They don't warm up as quick as PP's but once warm they perform well.

I use to run PPs, they were okay. Had good wear life and okay grip. Performed well in all weather.

I run Corsa IIIs right now on the street, I like em. They wear too fast in the middle if you do any straight road riding. Trip to Indy for GP killed the middle of them. I love them in the dry for twisty riding. They suck in the rain because of the long heat up.

I ran PP 2CTs for the first time at nashville SS this year. I did not like them. The tire transition was rough and they didn't have a lot of the qualities I liked in the PP to justify using them. Once I wear them down enough to not use at track days, I will try em on the street.

It all depends how hard you ride...

If you're a really aggressive canyon carver / kneedragger then any of the dual-compound street tires are a good compromise between mileage and performance (DCIII, 2CT, BT016, etc.). I personally like the DCIII's better than the michelins. I'll admit I've never ridden the bridgestones.

If you ride any less aggressively then that, don't waste your money... get sport touring / harder compound stuff.

Some people like the peace of mind of having a stickier tire... but I am of the opinion that it's a waste of cash... 0.001% of people on the street are approaching their tire's abilities... It's all the rider.

You mentioned you liked them, but never actually said thats what you were using.

Right now I have some shitty bridgestones on there, but I dont remember the model. They are kind of old and not very sticy at all. Theyre being replaced as soon as the weather breaks in the spring with pilot road 2s.

Because right now I'm not using anything
