Sena firmware 4.0
Webbikeworld is reporting that the version 4.0 software is out. I didnt see a link on their website

Gee, I haven't used mine since the 3.0, did the 3.3 update, still haven't really used it, now 4.0 is almost out. WOW!! GO Sena!!

I saw that they offer some other base clamp kits... So I ordered a different one with 2 different mic boom types... the SMH-A0304
I'm hoping that with this setup I can just mount the sena on the back of my helmet to free up space due to my HD intercom system on the same side. |

There was a photo of the smh5 mounted vertically to the back of a helmet on their facebook the other day, and I think they use the same base plate

I'm still researching new comm options...
The Sena is moving up though, especially with this alternative base with the small mic. I'd be curious to see if the cords are actually long enough for you to mount the Sena on the back of the helmet. Would you mind posting an update once you have it in hand?
