In the Army and riding without an endorsement? Ever heard of Line-of-duty determination? If you wreck without your license, you're fucked, your life insurance will not be honored...probably won't be honored. I know it wouldn't in the Air Force.

exactly... that even if you only are injured... they WILL charge you for all your care. we had a guy at Elmendorf have this happen from a wreck on a snowmachine cause he didn't go through the training... he had two broken legs... broken ribs... and needed surgery for a lacerated liver.

cost him north of 70K...
