Blog Contest Rules

Overview:

The purpose of this annual contest is to provide entertaining motorcycle related content to the site. Contest is open to all members who wish to contribute.

Contestants will be granted permissions to access the special subforum to post blogs, whereas all members are granted access to view the blogs. The subforum dedicated to the contest will be regulated strictly for blogging ONLY. No postwhoring will be allowed. A separate subforum will be set up for blog discussion.

You are only allowed one thread in the subforum.


Content:

Multiple medias are allowed and encouraged. Text, pictures, drawings, and video... be creative. The same rules apply as the media relates to the general ToC of TWFix.com.

Stipulation is that all content must be motorcycle related.

Given that this is a yearly contest, content is reserved to happenings of the during certain dates, in this contest those dates are April 1st, 2008 to November 1st, 2008. Obviously we have no way of knowing when events occurred... it's up to you to be honest. Speaking of honesty, don't make up stories. If you want to write fictional narratives, that's cool, just don't do it within the contest. That is what we will refer to as 'douchebagging'.


Contest:

Blogging will open on April 1st of the current contest year and close on November 1st of the same year.

Voting will begin within the provided poll on November 1st and will end December 31st of the same year. Voting will be open to all members.

Winners will be officially announced the first week of January. Prizes are TBD. Winner will be recognized with a Ride '08 Blog Challenge Winner customized user title picture.
