In defense of Toyota, my brother and I used to work summers at Toyota of Irving with my step-dad who is a 20 year mechanic there. We were led to believe that ANY snooping inside a customers car would lead to us being strung up from the rafters by our toes. Messing with ANY of a customer's personal belongings was strictly forbidden and I never saw any employee rifle through a car unless warranted by the repair.

None of my dealerships do this shit. That is Ford, Lincoln, Chevy or HD. I never take anything out of my vechicles when I take them in. They don't touch shit!

Hell I worked at a Ford dealer... we never did shit in their cars in service. Most of them we only drove and parked.

fuck'n douchebags... but what ever dealership it's at... I don't feel it's a reflection on the brand... but the douchebag themselves. I've seen shitty customer service at Toyota, Chevy, Ford, Suzuki, BMW, Ducatti... shit the worst service I've had in a long time was at my local honda shop... fuck'n horrid.

that being said... hope that fucker got booted and is now riffle'n through the trash outside the local walmart.

Yea I agree, I gotten bad service everywhere! Ha my favorite snooping story is about a guy I used to ride with that worked for Verizon. He used to download customers pictures from their phones and show them to everyone! I've been known to take a racy picture or two but it's amazing what people will have on their phones!

yeah when I worked at Fry's Electronic's... the Service Counter tech's used to snoop every computer for porn and photos... amazing what they found... a couple resulted in the arrest of child porn addicts...

Damn!!! What the fuck was up with licking the pill dust? I'm glad they all were canned.

Owning a detail shop I had to dig through all of my customers shit. We would take everything and put it in large zip lock bags. I told anyone that helped me that they were not to keep anything. Everything went into bags, change, papers, keys, pens, gum, meds, drugs, alcohol, lace teddy's and sex toy boxes. I always said you never know what someone has counted and set up. Some change or cd and so on is not worth losing a job or customer over.

We even found $160 in a truck from a dealer. We always gave back everything but they told us to trash the stuff we find in the cars they had, when we found the money I knew that wouldn't count. I called them and they thanked me, then called me the next day to ask if we found more. They had a super sale and used this truck as a office to count the cash down payments and I guess they didn't do a good job at holding on to it.
