Default Cheap airfare

Against my better judgment I might get on an airplane next week. I'm deathly afraid of flying...but I digress...

Where can I find the cheapest airfare?

You're hosed trying to buy a plane ticket a week out to get cheap airfare.

Having said that, try Travelocity or Orbitz.

Yeah, I'm finding that out. I've checked them out and I'm just not paying $500+ dollars to get on a death machine.

This was a last minute decision to fly to FL for the PSU/LSU game. Sadly, there's a direct flight from Harrisburg to Orlando everyday from the HBG airport for $135/roundtrip....but they are booked solid every day next week.

Try Philly to Orlando, flight will be cheaper from a larger airport. It will cost you $11/day for parking in the extended lot. Also check Baltimore, Reagan, Dulles, and Pittsburg.

Checked Balto...but Pitt is too far. Philly...maybe. I'll check them.

I used Kayak. But God hates me and after watching the air fares for 2 weeks straight and having it slowly go from $300-320 I got some tickets before it got any higher and then 2 days I checked the flights and saw some for $220. Only me

I hear a lot of people use Twitter and friend companies like Best Buy, Delta, etc and the companies will Tweet coupon codes and special offers. Might be worth a shot.

Thirdgen was in the same position and he rode his bike. So get off your lazy ass and get some miles under you. LOL

I'm trying to do this as cheaply as conveniently as possible. Driving to Pittsburgh just isn't gonna happen. And I do not plan on renting a car.

I dont think so. Harrisburg International Airport is hardly that. There are only a handful of companies that come and go. The plus side is there are NEVER lines. Even on THanksgiving and Xmas they only see a few thousand passengers. The downside is prices are often a bit more expensive. But like I said, US Air does daily flights for $134 bucks.

Good plan. I'll look into it, Thanks!

Will look into that too. Thanks.
