Everyone should spend one day on a wing before they decide they are just for old people
If you are ever in New Hampshire look me up I will let you take either mine or my wifes GL1800 out you will be amazed

This thing just looks like a waste of money, unless they got a wrecked goldwing to do it. Be cheaper to get a better performing Busa and do it if you wanted a huge motor. |

That'd be my guess... I wouldn't mind finding a basket case Goldwing and hacking it down to something similar, but this thing has a lot of custom work done to it... I would hope that the guy has a shop or easy access to one because that shit looks expensive. |

I've only ridden one Goldwing in my life. To be truthful at first I didn't really want to ride it...especially with a passenger on the back as well. I just didn't feel comfortable taking something out so big and heavy that didn't belong to me...plus riding in an area that I wasn't familiar with didn't help.
When we first pulled out I was a bit wobbly. I had to turn around in gravel...it was in the mountains and I hadn't ridden in a few years on top of that !! I wasn't familiar with the controls and just felt like a fish out of water. Well low and behold it started coming to me and before long I was actually enjoying the ride...the bike surprised me big time. It is a nice machine. After stopping here and there while out on the ride I started getting really comfortable with it and even started playing with the communications system...bike to bike...passenger to passenger...the 6 CD disc changer...cruise and so on. The bike even has reverse a remote control trunk which can include a freakin' vanity mirror !! I appreciated the guy letting me ride his bike because I would have never known how easy the bike is to ride and how well it actually handles if I hadn't of taken it for a spin. Oh and the Goldwing in the OP above looks badazz...Madmax your bike is ready !! |
