Two points here.
First, it seems odd that the man was found guilty and sentenced when the prosecution in the case offered only one witness, whose testimony was not heard because it did not relate to the case in question, but the defense had plenty of testimony on his behalf. Second, how is it that Tom Delay is being locked up, but Charlie Rangel is not only free, but still a sitting congressman?
