I'm guessing a good 40-50% of such deals are exagerations of the truth...

There are just guys out there who always seem to happen upon killer deals... Some of it's luck, some of it's constant attention and a pocket full of cash at all times.
My old man once followed a guy into a shopping center because he liked his car... turned out the guy was just getting ready to sell it because he was going through a messy divorce... My dad followed the guy to his house and got a deal not unlike the one that started this thread. Luck... and a pocket full of cash. |

The people I know who happen upon great deals all the time spend hour scouring CL and eBay daily. They also buy nearly every good deal they come across. I don't care that much. |

I love the cbr1000rr. And have always loved the repsol job. As a street bike alone, it would be real hard to pick between the R1 and Blade.
The biggest part of deals is the $$$. I stumbled upon a ton of steals this spring, whether it be street bikes or track bikes. But being a poor college student, I couldnt do a damn thing about it.

Divorce; kids on the way...these two things apparently bring many bargains (or so I hear). I never see them...
