Not a weeble
.... it DOES fall down.
My husband slid my bike. Actually, he sharpened it. He broke the windshield with his right leg as the bike highsided him off - and in doing so, he pushed the bike to the ground and got hung up on the left clipon with his left leg. So, there he was, sliding down the back straight facing backwards in front of the bike. He cracked a rib, and has a bone bruise from the windshield. The bike is fine, though not her pristine self. The left rearset ground down about an inch from the left. MUCH better than it breaking off. The panel is nicely (ugh) buffed. Left clip-on is sharpened, and the lever has caramelized. Not bad, knowing that he slid for about 70 feet...

The funny part was when he came up from the session I was in the clubhouse - the guys just said "I guess the 998 is done".
I just questioned... "the tires?" "No, Evan crashed" I ran out there "Is he OK??!!?" The answer was deadpan "Oh, the bike is fine"

I'm glad both him and the bike are fine. It sounds like it could have been much worse for both.

Dang, glad he was ok and the bike came out alright too! Sucks to hear but pretty impressive damage to both was so light considering the length of the slide!
