There is a little red band that goes with em. It looks really cool around your handlebars.
Congrats man. I'd look like a little kid with a new toy right now. |

well i just spent about 3 hours working on it. most of the time was spent getting the front fairing off, and then putting the new one in. also put on the solo cowl and the tank pad. still to come, frame sliders (because ACE hardware didnt have blue loctite in stock) and of course the M4. but so far she's looking better
pics: replaced the upper seat cowl - it doesnt quite sit flush on the tail, but i've heard of a way to fix this old exhaust, soon to be gone... tank pad

you've never heard of the GP exhaust mod?? you roll up the motoGP ticket, and stick it down your pipe. makes your bike sound like a GP racer and adds at least 5HP at the wheel

what my bike looks like right now
dropping out the exhaust system is actually not too hard, the clamp to the rear header is a bitch to get at but luckily i'm skinny i'm about half way through cutting the pipe - after thats off, and I sand it down a bit, I think its pretty straightforward to install the slip on. then more swearing while i try to mount the whole thing to the bike - and im done.
