I don't live in Chicago so my opinion doesn't matter much, but I would be more accepting of this (and even red light cameras) if privately-owned companies weren't making revenues off of it. Capitalism is good, but it's motivated by greed, and when you start mixing greedy private companies with the law, well...

isn't there already someone that knows if you drop your insurance? I've thought for a long time that all the insurance company had to do was notify the police in your area that you have dropped your insurance.
last time I looked uninsured motorist was the most expensive part of my insurance. |
