A few pics of the new Ducati Streetfighter... full details of this 155 bhp beast will be on www.ducati.com toninght. it looks and sounds amazing!!!

Far from a naked 1098, the streetfighter has a unique frame, longer swingarm, unique tank, dash, led headlight system and is fitted with twin small radiators instead of one wide one to keep the bikes profile very narrow.

Available in two versions, the S spec bike gets full 8 stage adjustable traction control and datalogging, Ohlins suspension and forged lightweight wheels! now that is a high spec bike!

S model is set to be available later this year and base models early 2009.

Prices to follow later this week.

The headlight unit is ugly but the rest doesn't look bad. Why extending the swingarm? I don't get it?

I'd like to see it pitted against the regular Tuono. The Tuono may be down by 20-HP, but I'm willing to bet that the chassis will more than make up for it.

Im sure the longer swingarm has something to do with the new frame.

I'm totally jerking off right now... I think I'd still rather have a SuperDuke though...

Who want want any of those when you can have this????
