I looked at it, tried to push it back together, there was no way in hell anything was going to hold that in place. Trust me, I hate the idea of stitches, but pretty much knew I had no choice, it was way too deep.

Ouch man... that looks like no fun... I did a similar thing when I was working at the Vet hospital. I put a scalpel through my finger, cut all the way down to the bone... didn't hurt like I thought it would... until they cleaned it... sans no-hurt juice...
