Thank god, I was going fucking insane here around the house.

Today was a good day.

I went to 100 degrees for the past two nights... Unaided I can actually get beyond that... probably to 110 or so... from about 45 to 70 it hurts like a bitch, then it's not bad.

my dad's kneed prior to the total replacement had 7 surgeries and could only bend to 90... because they'd chopped the tendens so short... after the replacement, he's back to equal to his right or about 120 or so. but he said it hurt like a bitch to use that machine

The first time they put me in it, they set it at 30 degrees... 5 hours after my surgery... I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, but I won't lie... I cried. The dilaudid and percocet combination did little... I was in it for 8 hours, 6 of which were amazingly painful. The last two I was whacked out on the drugs that FINALLY started working.

One thing I didn't mention that sucks... Muscle loss. My left calf is now almost 3cm thinner in circumference when compared to my right calf. There goes the excitement about me losing 10lbs during all this.

Do you expect a full recovery...as in back to how you were before? I wonder if being cramped up in a sport bike will be rough on the knee.

Should be a full recovery, but I expect it won't be comfortable riding a sportbike... then again, my other knee is half fucked and hurts like a bitch after a short while... I'm sure to have a matching pair now...
