Default possibly trade leathers for steering damper

got some AGV leathers, size 48 US, used for one trackday weekend, look like new, no bug guts, etc, cept for a little wear on the knee pucks, would trade for a nice steering damper for an 05-06 GSXR 1000

Do a Search and change the weight of the oil.

Those leathers will do more than a steering damper. If your that dead set buy an OEM replacement like a shday for 100 or less. Fully adjustable.

if its anything like the Ohlins that came stock on my kawi, you have to do a mod to it for it to actually work. Its on there for show only pretty much

kawi ohlins units have a hole drilled in the piston. Fixing those units is as simple as epoxying that sucker shut. I think the lawyers made em do it. I can easily see a situation where someone cranks it up all the way, wrecks and comes back looking for a couple mil hey yamerhaw, anyway to retrofit the k7/8 damper? I understand those have some sort of electronic adjustment. Course ive never ridden one so i couldnt tell you how those work either
