Amorok is riding about 850 miles. He's coming here to get me (about 280) then on to Suches, which is about 575.

You two are going to be about the same then. I forgot he's coming up the Natchez Trace, which will add more mileage to his run here.

My ass is so not ready for a 575 mile run, especially on slab. I just now got my rear tire fixed so I haven't been riding much lately. And I haven't ridden more than a couple hundred miles at one time in almost a year.

Oops.

me too! Either I'm gonna risk some tickets and try to run 100+ all the way or I'm starting out early and stopping A LOT! A hitch for my car is about $100 and a rental trailer is about $50........between unpredictable weather, riding alone and comfort...well,let's just say that it's REALLY,REALLY tempting to trailer it there...

actually i've been thinking about trailering too... nice thing about trailers... guarantees you a way home in case of a wreck.... that is unless you happen to wreck your bike into your tow vehicle... then... well... you're fucked.

yeah same here... add the fact that I could get away with out having to pack all those bags... and would save get there and home quicker (350 mile range on my X) and still be good to ride the next day...

biggest reason is I have to work on monday... and don't wanna run the risk of being stranded as my shop is short anyways...
