The harness prolly or most likely comes from Delphi and it probably wasn't spec'd to be taped in that area. There are alot of bare B+ connections throughout the vehicle, but I'm guessing its a crash-safety issue that may have never had a problem, but GM wanted to fix it before something happened.

I bought the redesigned SV the month it came out and have had it for 6 years with 0 problems other than a clutch cable that broke last year after over 20,000 miles of shifts

Every vehicle harness I've ever seem (name any car) uses electrical tape near the end of the conduit.

I can bet that bike was in production for 2 years before it reached the states (as with most of the Japenese stuff).

Ok, talked to my buddy that is a tech at a chevy dealership today. They just got in 3 new ones. The cable from the battery to the starter is too short by about an inch or so. It is in conduit, but *could* rub on the frame and possibly cut through the insulation. It's about a 20 min fix, new cable and boom, all better.

The weights on the calipers... well... no one knows.

After seeing it in person, yeah... I'll take the challenger. It really just doesn't do it for me.

Damn...after seeing the Challenger, I was leaning towards the Camaro, something I haven't seen up close yet.

Genesis coupe looks better each time I see it.

(disclaimer: I'm not going to be in the cage market for another 5-10 years. so this post is an academic exercise)

Things I didn't like about the Camaro.
-rear "shoulders" of the car, too bulky and the roofline flows to the center too soon. They just didn't flow right to me
-Sides of the car seemed too tall
-roof height/glass height seemed too short, like the roof was squished down. This could have something to do with the sides seeming too tall.
-door lock button in the center console
-HVAC controls are... different... to say the least

Haven't gotten a chance to drive it yet, but my bud said it's stupid quick, even with the auto.
