Yamer, maybe you don't come across this much where you live but I can tell you that there are TONS of legal immigrants that do not speak a lick of English. Maybe the guy is illegal, but you don't know so don't accuse us of defending illegal immigrants when you can't back up your statement. And not a soul here has said that we are in support of illegal immigrants. |

You can hardly blame a guy for ASSuming they are illegal when the ratio of legal to illegal is probably 1 out of 5. Like I said, I'd like to see the number of legal Mexican immigrants in this country versus what INS believes the actual number of Mexicans there are living in this country. As far as living in this country for decades and not learning the language... well, I thought that you had to pass certain requirements to live in this country. If you don't then that is another issue in itself! Sorry Jose' but if you want to live in my country, you have to speak my language! When a lot of your ancestors came to this country THEY had to learn English to be naturalized or am I mistaken?

There are certain standards for citizenship. You can be a resident alien for decades without ever meeting those standards and your children will be citizens.

If some spanish speaking guy is there to pick up an old R1 my first assumption is that they are here legally and that they are assholes for not speaking the language. That and the ZX-9r of that year is the better bike. I guess it's the result of being mistaken for being spanish\latinus americanus and quite a few folk automatic assumption is that: A. I speak spanish B. I just crossed the border Last edited by pauldun170; 06-24-2009 at 11:39 AM.. |

Well that's bullshit! I just saw something on tv about Sandra Bullock has to get married to avoid getting deported back to Canada... seems kind of unfair to me.
