Normal ride to the mountains for a day for me is 400 - 500 miles.

Have done past 700 in one day though. Didn't care for that too much, food poisoning on top of it didn't help.. The date was Aug. 8th 2005.. one of the worse days of my life.. buddy also got a wreakless for 83 in a 55
What bike are you riding?

Me and Tommy did damn near 800 miles from the northeast to GA in a straight shot...we stopped once for actual food other than that it was all gas and go's...

By the foruth or fifth gas stop i was begging my fuel light to come on...I got almost 160 out of a tank on one run we had from gas station to gas station...I was proud of her that time...damn near 40 miles to the gallon...I average 34 to 36 on a good day.

I didn't read all the posts but I assume like most others I can go through a whole tank comfortably.... On the Buell that meant about 180 miles of reasonbly hard riding.

Till the low fuel light comes on, then all I need is 5-10 minutes for gas and a smoke. After the first few gas stops, my ass and back are sore for about 10 minutes then it goes away.

That's kinda how I am. The wierd part is, even once I'm tired and sore. Once I sit around for an hour I feel fine.

It definitely depends on the type of riding I'm doing and the company I'm with.
