The point I'm trying to make, is that same assholes who currently work for TSA, would likely ending up working for the private contractors anyway.

Bouncers, Mall Cops, etc...They're all cut from the same cloth. Surly bastards who couldn't be real cops, because they weren't smart enough, or couldn't pass the psych test.

Ditching the TSA isn't going to change that.

I know. What it would do is take away some of their real and imagined authority. Since it's been proven many times that their real authority doesn't keep us any more secure, and their imagined (and real) authority generally results in hot chicks getting unnecessary strip searches, I don't see what's to lose by getting rid of the federal administration. Keep the chodes, sure, but take their douchey badges away.
