Default Planning a snowboarding trip...in the fall?

Yep, if I can get enough of my friends to go and some time off. Found this place and thought I would share, just in case anyone here likes to hit the slopes.

I went for the first time this past winter and I'm itching to go again. Don't know if I can wait for it to get cold again BTW, any avid snowboarders here?

You could always go to Timberline on Mt. Hood's glacier.

When I was younger I was a junkie for skiing. I tried snowboarding but didn't really like it. I gave my brother my board and went back to skiing. Now that I am in FL I don't get much chance anymore though.

So the snow flex stuff isn't that great? And I was really looking forward to snowboarding in 70+ drgree weather.

Timberline looks sweet, and they look to get snowfall pretty often. I may have to plan a big trip up there once I get the money and time.

Timberline is nice for summer skiing, but the terrain isn't all that great. If you ever make a trip out here in the winter, Meadows is where it's at as far as Hood is concerned.

I love snowboarding, even went pregnant this winter when we took the kids at school to the hill.

I'll try to remember that. Chances of me getting out that far at this point are slim to none with school and work and the fact that I live in the southeast. Thanks for the info tho man

Speaking of kids, there were some kids on snowboards this winter that were tearing it up out there. Made me look bad

Im all for going this fall/winter to a real slope but no money to do this in the summer. Looks pretty cool though. I just dont want to drive so far and be disappointed by it.
