Yes I agree, Police should definitely be reacting to social situations with anger, revenge, frustration and other primitive behavior. Why would we expect them to use their minds to overcome potentially dangerous situations? I mean, its not like they have any training.

Besides, the sooner they beat and kick a person and wrap up the situation the more time they'll have to come unlock your fucking door for you.

He was shocked twice, once for 49 seconds and then again for 5 seconds with a 1 second interval between the two shocks. Not that facts have ever mattered much to you.

Goddamnit Ed, you've got the fucking internet, do some research for once. The answer to your question is that it depends on the specific model and we don't know what model was used by the FWPD in this situation, however their OFFER to settle for $2mil is a confirmation that this really happened.

Stun Duration - Different models of TASER devices have pulses that last for varying periods of time.

* The TASER M18L send a series of pulses which last for five seconds.
* The TASER C2 delivers electrical shocks for thirty seconds when fired. You can press the trigger again to send another series of shocks, once the previous barrage is completed. A safety feature allows the user to switch to the OFF position which immediately stops the pulses.
* The TASER X26C offers more options. If you pull the trigger once it delivers a ten-second burst. If you pull the trigger twice in rapid succession it delivers a twenty-second burst. The third option is to pull the trigger three times for a pulse that lasts thirty-seconds.

Never call the cops unless you have to report a death. They will just fuck something up, someone will get cited or arrested and money will exchange hands.

Not worth it.
