Default Mudpuppy Worldwide Press Conference May 6, 2011

MP Racing officially announces today a new ride in the stable. This has been a long time coming and after much discussion with upper management, aka the fun governor, aka the holder of the nuts, it is rumored MP was told "get the damn bike", so he did. Without further adieu I give you the new hotness:

I thought you wanted a 2008? Regardless, nice bike!

I was debating between this and an 08 or newer with the slipper clutch. But I really didn't see any 08 or newer that impressed me, especially in price. This has a shit ton of extras and I really dig the color scheme and the fact it's a 50th anniversary edition. It's not a rare bike but a little less common than a run of the mill R1. And all the 08s or newer I looked at (mostly 09s and 10s) were bone stock.

That would definitely influence my decision as well. You get a lot of extras that you would likely put on the bike yourself, without spending the extra cash for them.

That bike is better on the track than the new R1 from what many have said. Nice ride MP.

that was my thought as well.. all the extras and half the price of new.. was a no brainer for me.. i rode the 06 at the gap last year when i rented from greg mccoy and that bike was bad fucking ass.. this one is even better..
