Between covering yourself in guts and having two chained up, arm/jawless "Pets", you could roam free without worrying.

Or hop on a boat to an island, or move somewhere that the temp drops below freezing. Or to a dry climate so those nasty corpses dry rot..

I hope a zombie apocolypse never happens. There's no way I could go along with the common ideas. I'd be living on a dry, hot, desert island all by myself...

Not in the case of the living, with hypothermia patients you arent officialy dead untill youre warm and dead. Of course these are zombies were talking about.
