Default What's the strangest thing you've hit/run over?

I flattened a ring necked pheasant the other day and have destroyed various woodland creatures that have had the misfortune to wander in front of my bike in my travels.

What's the strangest thing you've ever hit or run over in your travels?

The law.

Physically it would have to be a dead deers leg on the highway on my old bike going 70 mph. I got about 2 feet of air and almost went down.
The sad thing? I was tempted to turn around and ride over it again going faster.

A flock of seagulls. They destroyed my face shiled and I was pulling feathers from my helmet and leathers for a week after. I probably plowed through a few dozen of them before I made it through the flock.

The worst part was that we were stopped on the side of the road that was covered in white birds in front of us, stupid me says to my riding buddy "I wouldn't worry, they are pretty good at moving before you hit them". Then I got on the throttle way too hard.

Riding a country road in Michigan at dusk, I came up to what I thought was a bit of fog... Turned out to be a huge swarm of bugs. I just tucked a bit and headed in...about 30 yards in I felt something hit my shoulder, them my face and everything went dark. I slowley pulled off the road and removed my helmet. Just like a cartoon, I had a bat, wings extended splattered across my fullface helmet.

Leon has run over an alligator.

I have hit a buzzard, straight into my chest, shoulder area. I was wearing a JR mesh jacket. Blood and guts and feathers everywhere, and I had the biggest bruise ever.
