That's brilliant!

Pods are easier to get to than the stock air box, but they don't do too well in rain and wind. I have thighs of steel from trying to keep the wind out of them here in KS.

I haven't changed anything on my 07 600rr since I got it 2 years ago except oil/filter and chain lube. Come May, I'll do the plugs, air filter and brake fluid...and maybe the fork oil too.

I usually go over the bike at the start of every riding season, regardless of what had just been done prior to winter.

So what kind of filter you put in it?

You should get a BMC filter. Street of course, I don't think I'd trust the race filter on the street.

I have BMC filters in my Hayabusa and TLR. It is surprising the junk you find in the airbox and on the filter.

I clean and re-oil mine every winter when I do the winter maintenance on both bikes.
