San antonio is a decently fun tourist town. Enjoy the river walk, lots of places to drink, you cant really go wrong with any of the bars there, I went to a place called dirty nellys (its a piano bar) a few weeks ago and had a great time.

I drove up to Austin, where most of the folks from here live in that general area, went out to dinner with a bunch of folks.

As far as a bike try renting a harley, there are a few places in the area that you can get one. i think a sporty goes for $100/day plus insurance and a $2k deposit.

Howdy.

I grew up there, live in Austin now.

As a tourist you will probably enjoy the riverwalk. This time of year they have all the Christmas lights up on the river, so it's pretty. You can go see the Alamo....if you know what that is.

As far as bikes go....yeah, good luck.

Depending on where you are in SA, it's about 75 miles or so to Austin. It's just right up I 35.

What days are you going to be down here? There are a bunch of us in Austin, so if you want to come meet up let us know and we can rally a few troops.

planning to be there the 15th through the 18th... so tuesday-friday... likely flying back home friday but I may arrange an overnight stay. I'd be down but I need to get the trip itinerary first before anything...I'd be cool w/ going out thursday night and then going straight to the airport and heading home lol
