It wasn't taken from Carson. It was taken from Leno but he is getting it back, and after this mess it will probably be his until he walks away from it.

Holy Shit! I had no clue Conan wasn't doing the late night thing anymore. I knew some stuff was going down but figured he was moving back to 12:30. I didn't get the whole deal till I happend to tune into the show last night.

I liked Conan a lot but because I have a job I could only enjoy him on the reruns on Comedy Central.

Don't own one and don't you have to pay a service to use one? Not worth it for a late night show.

I have a DVR but I quickly figured out that taking an hour or two of late night TV and trying to cram it into daytime just doesnt really work for me. I barely have time to watch anything in the evening already. I usually have the DVR full of stuff then on a quite weekend I pick a few things to watch on it and delete the rest.

The cable company does here as well. Sometimes they "bundle" the cost in to the total package so it isn't always obvious. There are also sometimes charges for a second HD box. Here it is $5 per month for just HD, or $12 per month for an additional HD/DVR box.
