Yukon, but I would get a 4door full size truck. Make sure you get the 5.3L with DOD.

I can look up any GM bulletins back to 1996. Let me know if you need any research.

From 2 people NOT from the Motor City. I don't expect you to understand. I have family and friends in Ford, GM, and Chrysler. It's in our roots, it's in the family. You don't get it cause you aren't part of it.

Dude, I'm sorry to hear about your family and friends, and that's not just talk, I mean it...but those to blame aren't "over there"...they're HERE...and most work in banking, and government. Half of Bush's fucking cabinet used to work at Goldman Sachs.

These are the folks to blame, not others, in other countries, who are doing nothing more than trying to provide for themselves, and their own.

The reason we aren't at the top of our game is multifaceted, but until we start educating our own, and caring for the health of our own, those who can and do will simply live better, work better, and produce better goods...and will continue to eat our lunch.

Oh yeah it's multi leveled. But the day we no longer produce anything for ourselves will be a sad day. We will be dependant on other countries for our survival and crutch of products. I blame the govt mostly. Expenses to build in other countries is cheaper than here, simply because we live better than most countries. That means wages cost more, and let's not even get into medical. Problem is the import taxing... it's not a level playing field. But I'm not trying to debate politics.

Listen... it's simple. I keep a chevy and a ford in my driveway. Why? I have family that work there. It keeps them in jobs and roof over their heads. How would I be able to face my family rolling up in a Honda or Toyota? I might as well take the spoon from them.

Now I'm not an idiot. If you are in shitville or other similar state with foreign brand factories and you have family that works for Toyota or Honda. I will not hold anything against them for purchasing what keeps them employeed. I have a buddy that works for Toyota/Lexas and drives one. I understand.

Further, I have friends that have foreign cars. You won't hear me knock a Honda car. They make good stuff and I think are above the other foreign cars. But you won't see me own one.

As soon as a US car maker doesn't produce shit I'll go back to them. There really aren't anything styling or the same build quality as a foreign car. I remember driving a nearly new dodge durango and every button and lever in the car felt like complete junk. I REALLY would like to do buy a US car, as soon as they catch up. Maybe this collapse across the board will shake them up.

Nope 5.7. For a 6200 lb. truck it's actually pretty good. I've got 161k on it now and it still runs great and gets reasonably good mileage. (13ish on the interstate dragging a trailer.)

I wish I drove it this year cause' you probably would understand why I hang on to it all these years...
