Ouch... lol

Pretty good debate going on over at the CustomFighters board... Several guys saying the SUV guy was at fault too and should be charged. If they want to charge him for the rear-end collision, I could be down with that... anything else is ridiculous.

Moving in front of someone and hitting the brakes is Felony Aggravated Assault. The fact it's on video with the rider yelling the the driver, then making an unsignalled/close proximity lane change, THEN looking over his shoulder and hitting the brake... no way in hell the RR driver will or should be charged. He was already the victim of the rider's stupidity at that point and it only got worse when mob mentality set in.

If it had been me driving, I can say with near certainty I would have floored it in reverse before making my escape. RR driver was clearly concerned with nothing more than getting out of there ASAP, not exacting revenge or taking out any [childish] assailants.

Given that the original incident was caused by the rider's conscious actions, I wouldn't even support charging the Rover driver for that. In fact it's the rider who has been charged for that incident, based on the evidence fron the video.

He points out something I had noticed too: the jackass that essentially pulled the trigger on the entire confrontation (Cruz) never even had to stop his bike. If he was hit at all, it wasn't even a strong enough hit to break his stride.

Interesting notes on "Jay Meezee." I never stopped to think about which "injured" biker it was that he was supposedly "helping." But the author here is right, there were none who needed assistance at that point.

At this point I feel safe in concluding that every one of those bikers is a lying asshole and they pretty much got what they deserved, even Mieses. Also, were I in Lien's position I probably would have been playing some old school Spyhunter.

I like to ask myself a question about some people, If they died tomorrow, would the world be better or worse? If the answer is better, I literally could not care less about their well being. When your biggest contribution to the world is carbon dioxide, why do we care if they die or not?
