redneck is pretty much a general term that doesn't even apply to just southerners anymore as it has pretty much developed into poor white trash no matter where you are from, where the others are more geographically limited to certain areas of the south.

Ok I do agree with this...I didn't realilze there were so many rednecks up north until I visited some northern states....they definitely aren't just in the south.

coonasses...hillbillies....still can fall under the redneck label as well...

Coonass is beyond redneck, it's not something under the redneck label, it's in it's own league. You just need to meet some real coonasses to understand.

Yeah...I know but when you see one and don't exactly know where he's from...redneck covers it...at least on the surface...just like the redneck brush you used on Tennessee fans....some of them are hillbillies but redneck still works.
