So what size was your first STREET bike (knowing many people started out on dirtbikes)? 500cc (Buell Blast)
Was it an I4 or a Twin? Neither... single... thumper ftmfw!  Did you have previous experience (i.e. with dirtbikes)? Nope.. MSF only. If you started on something "bigger," do you think it hurt your development as a rider or do you wish you'd started smaller? Not really applicable.. but I did move up to a 600 within after only 4 months on a Blast. I'd like to think I'm a quick study, but really I'm just impatient.  But it was a '93 F2, so it's not like it was just dripping with power or anything.. so I don't regret riding it at all, and it definitely didn't hurt my riding skill, I think.  Crashing it, on the other hand, did. At least as far as self-confidence is concerned.
