So in Q3 I'm getting a corp provided phone since they will no longer let us expense our personal phones and I was originally told my choices were "any BB device, any WinMo device, or an iPhone". At first I was thinking maybe an HTC Diamond or Samsung Omnia.

"Oh, those aren't on the list."

"Can I see the list of approved devices, then?"

"Here it is, but it's out of date. We're working on the updated version now. Basically BB devices or the iPhone."

"OK then, I'd like the BB Storm."

"Sorry, not on the approved list."

"So......my choices are traditional BB devices or an iPhone?"

"BB Storm 2 will be evaluated when it comes out."

"When's that?"

"1st half of 2010."

Lot of good that does me now. I may be going with the iPhone, as much as I don't like Apple. The product I've been working on has an iPhone client and I need to be able to test with it anyway. I've looked at the traditional BBs and they just don't do it for me. Never thought I'd see the day where I get an iPhone.
