Default Monsoon Season Started

It started here yesterday, but there was no mention about it on the weather forecast. Dark clouds and then large raindrops around 4pm. I was able to pull over under a supermarket awning. Unbelievable intense rain for about twenty minutes and then it's over.

But the downpour creates huge puddles everywhere, and the cars and trucks cause water and mud rooster tails. I tried to stay back, but then a car would pull into the space. What a mess when I got home, and I have real fenders. A fine layer of silt on everything when it dried.

At least it cooled off the temps. Plus, we needed the moisture. But this will go on for several more weeks. I better get my riding done in the morning.
