Depends on height, body structure, and how active you are.

1500 calories is reccomended for either someone who is very small and thin naturally, their body not needing as much nutrients and living a normal but not overly active lifestylr, or someone larger with a completely sedentary lifestyle. Someone who doesnt exercise, work in a physical job, or do any sort of manual labor.
