Hmm.. I was going to say he could have just had a slow reaction speed, but I saw him start to push left as the car was approaching. I guess it's just one of those 'I'm probably fucked, so I'll just go with it and hope for the best' situations.
And I've underestimated those bump in the road signs before, but not at that speed. >.>
