to the person who came up with the idea of tying corporate e-mail to a mobile device: if I ever catch you, I'll kick you in the nuts.

f**king electronic leash.

It's a problem on all Blackberrys to some extent. I think the Storm gets hit harder with it because of the OS is really written for the traditional keyboard/trackball style layout and they've tried to fuck with it and try to make it work on a touch screen when it's really not an OS that's tailored to that kind of setup. It's like buying a new computer with fancy hardware, then running Windows 3.11 and wondering why none of your printers and cameras and other shit work.

You may run into that problem if you install a bunch of apps on your phone and have them running in the background, but the Curve/Bold/Pearl seem to be less prone to memory leaks than the Storm.

If you haven't already, check out crackberry.com for all their tips, faqs, forums and all that other shit. There's such a huge wealth of information available on that site. Also, a good selection of free user created themes to personalize your phone, if your work allows you to install that kinda stuff.

On the homepage, about half way down, is a list of links for people new to Blackberry phones to help get you familiar with things.

Thanks Corey. I'll check it out. I don't often feel stupid with technology but this thing is trying my patience. And I feel like I have the fattest fingers in the world. LOL!

I know the feeling. That will go away soon.
