It must be their way of trying to appear "down with the struggle" or "tight with the common man" even though they are studying molecular biology or some shit. They probably actually like high-dollar shit like Guinness better, but are too self-conscious to order it in certain situations.

Except they are minoring in Art shit and plan to have a career in that. The real major is so their parents keep funding their $200,000 education.

They switch back and forth between high dollar shit and PBR.

Now if you are a college kid then PBR is understandable. But not if your parents hand you a credit card and they don't call and ask questions when you spend $200 in fruity drinks at a club on a wednesday night.

I also guess I'm the only one supporting the billion dollar domestic beer companies too.

And micro brews out there? We should hit one up. I still have yet to find a good beer for me... need to try some brazilian malty brews (recommended by a co worker)

Troegs is good stuff, I bought a few cases at a track day out near pitsburgh only to find they now carry it in NY. Stoudts isnt too far from the hotel either I believe. I did go to a brewpub in gettysburgh 2 or 3 years ago and it was ehh at best.

I've heard about that place down in GBG. Troegs is just a straight up brewery...it would be cool to do the tour...but they are only on Saturdays. But I can treat Gaseous to a few Troegs while he's in town. Appalachian has decent beer too, and good food. Both are in Harrisburg.
