I totally agree with the above article. If I avoid junk food for a while it doesn't tempt me, but get me started and it's a vicious circle!

Self control is an oddly defined concept and things are rarely that black and white.
I totally go in cycles and sometimes the more I eat the more I crave. Breaking that cycle is a tough exercise but worth it in the end. |

Best advice is, don't go grocery shopping when you're hungry. You'll end up buying a bunch of total crap.

Actually this is interesting, because since I have been pregnant I have little to no desire for chocolate or sugar, could this be because of higher levels of dopamine in my brain now? ( I think it would be dopamine?)
